What's a Luscious Love Scent?

An unusual several month long period acharacter will go through in which they become very horny and have an immense desire to be bred, going through temporary changes in the process and ultimately becoming hyperpregnant by the end. This period usually lasts about 3-4 months on average (although 6 months or over is definitely not unheard off), generally about once a year in the Spring or Summer.

Changes include

• Backside swelling (particularly the ass but also the thighs and hips as well). Size can range from 3xs - 100xs the normal size, sometimes even larger. The backside becomes especially flushed and warm to the touch. Panties, skirts, and other lower body garments are made in large sizes to accommodate this.
• An invisible magical aura surrounds the character, making them irresistible to any compatible partner within a certain radius (varies depending on size of swelling). This aura is defined by an alluring, sweet scent that can stretch for miles. It varies by scent and intensity depending on the character’s sexuality and swelling size, respectively.
• Behavioral changes occur, often the first signs of luscious love scent. Including: An intense desire to be bred, increased overall charisma, becoming easily aroused, and sometimes becoming easily flustered or embarrassed but this is infrequent.

• Other changes: Cum tasting sweeter, limited mobility (if swelling is large enough), swelling of the belly and breasts (though never to the extent of the backside), lactation, body becoming warm to the touch and flushed, hair and/or fur becomes fuller and silky.

Other info

• During this period, a character may have an attendant, generally someone unaffected by the scent, particularly when a character has limited mobility.
• A character may have sex with multiple partners, always consensual. The amount of partners who breed the character varies depending on swelling size.
• Finally, the character becomes hyper pregnant afterwards, with anywhere between 20-5000 young depending on swelling size. The behavioral changes revert back, although the character will have an increased sense of nurturing and will lactate far more. As the backside swelling recedes, the belly and breasts swell up larger.
• Luscious Love Scent does not occur in most individuals. The only six characters who are currently known to have a Luscious Love Scent include Secret Squirrel from Super Secret Secret Squirrel, Elly from Touhou Project, Super Creek and Loves Only You from Uma Musume, Ted Kasane from UTAU/SynthV, and Kicks from Animal Crossing.
• Luscious Love Scent occurs in characters regardless of gender or even sex.

Other Names or Phrases for Luscious Love Scent Include

General timeline

• Within the first week: The character will have an increasing desire to be bred, they’ll feel especially horny. They may feel hot, begin to sweat, pant heavily, and want to take their clothes off, these symptoms are more common with a larger swelling. They will also have difficulty sleeping.
• Starting Week Two: Swelling begins. Their ass begins to swell first, with hips and thighs catching up a day or so later. Depending on how large the swelling becomes, this process can last anywhere from a week to an entire month. Gradual but noticeable to an onlooker on a day to day basis.
• After the full swelling: The scent emits from the character’s body once the swelling is complete. Their belly and breasts swell during this period as well. They will also be especially flushed in the cheeks, chest, buttocks, belly, and thighs. This is when most potential mates compete for the character’s affection.
• Peak of LLS: All effects are in full-swing and the partners the characters has the strongest chemistry and affections with are chosen. Some of these partners are consistent with every Love Scent and others vary. This is when all the sexual activity happens.
• Waning week: After the breeding, the character’s body will begin to shift into hyperpregnancy mode. In between these periods, the character’s body will revert back to normal for 2 weeks to a month depending on the swelling size and thus the number of partners they have had sex with.

Known Scent Variations

• Pansexual: A very sweet scent, akin to cotton candy, but not clawing. There’s a hint of a baked goods scent, but it’s usually only present with a large swelling.
• Lesbian: A floral aroma, generally of roses, but with hints of lavender, lotus, or fruit blossoms (cherry, apple, peach, orange, ect). These hints usually occur with larger swellings and become more complex and nuanced as well.
• Bisexual: A tropical scent, generally citrusy with hints of a clean, refreshing air.

Potential/undiscovered scents
• Gay: A warm, cinnamon-y scent, with hints of a burning scent akin to a log on a fireplace.
• Polysexual:Fruit scent, particularly berry scents but hints of citrusy scents are present in larger swellings.

Differences Between Characters

• For Secret: In this AU, Secret has both sets of genitalia. Their small size does not hold them back from having large swellings. Being pansexual, Secret attracts all genders and species. They rarely have an attendant for this reason. Secret is unable to take on missions and must be on leave.
• For Elly: Being a lesbian in Gensokyou, she attracts a good chunk of the population. Some species are more easily drawn to the scent then others. Other females, cis or trans, can get her pregnant. Her attendant is often Kurumi, who views Elly as a older sister figure and is thus not attracted to her.
• For Kicks: Being bi, and that tropical love scent fitting the island atmosphere he often visits for business, he is quite popular. He also gets incredible sales during this time, villagers often dropping tons of money on shoes, socks, and shoe shinings to potentially become his mate. Kicks, however, prefers not to use that as a metric for picking mates. Since he moves around from place to place, he has very few constants. During larger swellings, he’ll stay on one island the entire time, usually Harvey’s.
• For Ted Kasane: Ted is normally shy and prefers staying out of the spotlight, unlike his sister Teto. Unfortunately for him, he’s the sibling with the Love Scent. Like his sis, he has a bit of a tsundere attitude sometimes, which only makes potential mates find him more attractive. He’s often swarmed by fans during Love Scent and is notoriously picky about choosing mates.

Super Creek and Loves Only You are the only known cases of Love Scent happening to more than one character per universe. Since they get it at the same time, the two often bond and spend lots of time together. Super Creek loves to spoil Loves Only You. Loves Only finds it a little embarrassing but also enjoys it.


• For Super Creek: She loves letting other Umas relax on her swelling ass to calm themselves or relax after training. She adores spoiling partners, letting them have whatever they want after the breeding session. She has no real preference between Umas or humans.
• For Loves Only You: Her social media following has increased tenfold since the internet learned of her Love Scent periods. She is hesitant to let just anyone breed her, she requires deep trust with a partner beforehand. She prefers Umas over humans.

Partners

Potential mates must be compatible with the character’s sexuality. A character only attracted to women will only attract women. People who identify as ace are unaffected by the scent but could accept to be a partner if both parties consent. Sex repulsed individuals find the scents unpleasant. Most potential mates will follow the scent to the character’s general vicinity. They will become attracted to them, some people more strongly than others. Some people who aren’t even interested in the character or don’t know them well may become attracted to them. Once the scent dissipates, their behavior reverts to normal, those some people will feel closer to or feel a bond with the character whether they become a chosen partner or not.

Partners who are chosen consistently are called Constants, whereas partners who change, are one-time, or are infrequent have varying names including One Nighters, Semi-Constants, One-Shots, or Rares depending on the situation.

Secret Squirrel's Partners

• Morocco: Morocco is a rare case of being both a mate and an attendant. He only really fills this dual role if Secret’s swelling is large enough to be an attendant. Morocco is very easily aroused by Secret’s pheromonic love scent and swelling. Even in the early stages, Morocco will express an interest in breeding Secret. He already has deep feelings for Secret as it is, so sexual desires intensify during the period.
• Penny: In the event Morocco chooses not to be attendant to Secret or cannot do so, Penny will fill in this role. This occurrence is extremely rare however. Penny is the partner who impregnates Secret with the highest amount of young, varying depending of Secret’s swelling. She is not as easily aroused by Secret’s love scent and swelling as Morocco but still always finds her behavior altered and being deeply attracted to Secret.
• The Chief: The only instance of The Chief having any sexual interest in Secret is during this period. He never feels an intense desire to breed Secret but it does occur, especially with a larger swelling. Being his boss, an sexual activity occurs off the clock. Smaller swelling usually results in attraction but no breeding.
• Queen Bea: Extremely allured by Secret’s Love Scent period. Secret initially rejected her on principle but later let her breed after consistently appearing and intense compromising.

Elly's Partners

• Yuuka: Elly’s most successful mate, impregnating her with the most young. She is already attracted to Elly so being allured by the Love Scent is inevitable, especially since Elly’s scent is floral in nature due to being a lesbian.
• Meiling: Travels from the Scarlet Devil Mansion to Mugenkan (or Elly’s location at that point in time), allured by the scent even with smaller swellings due to her attraction to Elly outside of this period. She often spends the short amount of time with her due to fearing punishment from Sakuya for not being at her post. Large swellings allow her more time with Elly, with Sakuya herself traveling with Meiling to be a potential mate to Elly. Her desire to breed Elly outweighs her fear of punishment and she always gets chosen as a mate because of this.
• Komachi: She has a powerful bond with Elly. Maybe it’s the scythes, maybe it’s their time spent in hell, maybe it’s because they’re potentially the same species? Nobody really knows, including them. Komachi will spend hours relaxing by Elly’s large backside. Eiki will often have to go and take Komachi back herself, although she is not immune to Elly’s scent herself.
• Letty: Willing to circumvent seasons just for Elly. Elly quite likes receiving affection from Letty, as her body to cold to the touch and cools Elly down a bit.
• Mima: Even when under the effects of Elly’s scent, Mima still finds a way to tease and fluster Elly. She often fights with Yuuka and winning lets her be able to breed Elly as well.
• Mamizou: Another character who will spend quite a bit of time around Elly’s backside. She often offers Elly a pipe to smoke, often with some marijuana to relax her if she’s feeling pent up. Mamizou is exceptionally good at breeding, often yielding some of the highest amounts of young in Elly. Hundreds if the swelling is large enough.
• Sanae: Initially completely unfamiliar with Elly, Sanae found herself increasingly drawn to Elly with each consecutive Love Scent. Often getting to know her better each time. Elly was at first reluctant to let a human breed her but Sanae’s godly status and sheer determination won her over.
• Reimu: Often finds herself caught between being allured by Elly but also wanting to investigate the phenomenon or even putting it to a stop. She often gives into the desires, but some years will completely avoid Elly.
• Aya: Wanting to get the scoop but also being allured by the scent, it’s a win-win for Aya. Although her articles pertaining to Elly’s love scent are often hastily written but weirdly flowery and explicit, very much a contrast to her usual writing style. Aya will sometimes recall these papers later on. Papers with these articles have become very rare and highly desired, some articles are considered lost with no surviving copies resurfacing.
• Yukari: Of course Yukari had to get involved in this like A OF COURSE SHE DOES! This is Yukari we’re talking about, that’s just what she does. Some years she’ll intensely breed Elly, other years she can’t be bothered. It’s feast or famine, mainly depending on Elly’s swelling size.
• Kasumi: Probably the most mysterious and elusive of Elly’s mates, only appearing during the largest swellings. Kasumi is a general enigma, only surfacing from her lake to win Elly’s favor. Elly admires her dedication but finds Kasumi rather strange. Many residents of Gensokyou have never even heard of her and some even doubt her existence.

Attendants

Clothing

Characters during a love scent period often struggle with finding clothes that fit them, especially during larger swellings. They often have custom made or at least custom tailored clothes, extremely elastic to allow for flexibility during their swelling process. They often call to an attendant to help them dress depending on their size. Though even small swellings can make getting changed a lengthy and tedious process, especially if unprepared. Often times, due to feeling hot, characters will opt in to only wearing underwear, stockings, and their hat. This allows them to cool down, further allure and attract potential mates, and/or make getting dressed quicker than if they were fully dressed.

Panties
Prioritized during the swelling. Some pairs will cover the backside as much as possible but more often than not, they’re thin enough to leave little of the backside covered and even less left to the imagination. These panties are lingerie pieces, often featuring ornate patterns, intricate lacing, and details such as bows, embroidered designs or even text.

Stockings
Same as panties, but not with as much priority. They often match the panties, being ordered alongside the panties in a bespoke set. Kicks usually prioritizes stockings due to socks being his specialty.

For specific characters

Secret
Being a wealthy and fashionable guy, Secret often gets bespoke undergarments and sometimes jackets, custom made just for their period. This is one of his favorite things about love scent, wearing panties that make him feel sexy, cute, and alluring. He also has special gadgets used to make getting dressed easier for him and his attendant helping him.

Elly
With Yuuka being a seamstress on the side (in my headcanon), Elly often gets special under garments tailored for her. Yuuka will often embroider sexual phrases onto these to further fluster Elly. She also loves adding lace, frills, bows, and flowers to Elly’s undergarments.

Kicks
He tailors his own undergarments in preparation for the love scent period. He especially takes pride in making his stockings very striking, seductive, and even downright beautiful. He’ll even custom make his own stockings for larger swellings. The Able Sisters have also gifted him bespoke undergarments in the past.

Super Creek
Prefers lingerie with a warmth to it, a comforting loving look as opposed to something ostentatious. She loves pastel colors and floral patterns, and a more classic look. She gifts Loves Only You lingerie often, still wanting to be the spoiler as opposed to the spoilee.

Ted
Although he initially tried to wear regular clothes or at least plain underwear, he soon found it did nothing to ward off attention. Ruko encourages him to wear lingerie to at least feel a bit more confident while going through Love Scent. Ted finds it embarrassing but figures When in Rome. Ruko tries to get him to show off his luscious body but it only causes him to get flustered and worked up.
